What is Kashithali

This is mangalsutra which is speciality of Karwar. When there is black bead in it then it is a mangalsutra and when there is no black bead then even unmarried women can wear it. The square in the center is their Waati.

Karwari people use coral in it which is now a days very rare. So if anyone who want to get it made in gold and pure coral then it becomes very expensive!
